I, Adamu Kaiwi, occupy a house lot in the city of Honolulu, Island of Oahu. My own place, under the authority of Victoria /Victoria Kamamalu?/ is 126 feet long and 66 feet wide. My occupation is from the time that Kaahumanu lived at Pulaholaho until this very time. This is my message to you, the Land Commissioners, and I sign my name on this 14th day of October ....

Naihe sworn by the Word of God and stated, "I have known the boundaries. They are the same as has been mentioned by Paukunui. Kaiwi had lived there since Kaahumanu I. I have not seen anyone else live there or have any right there. The three sides have been enclosed except for one remaining side which adjoins Kanakaole's side. There are some other people living there under A. Kaiwi."
