The Land Commissioners, greetings: I, Kapau, a Hawaiian woman living at Niumalu hereby state my claim for one lo`i, named Aione and its kula which adjoins on the north of the lo`i, and a pond, Kanaio and its small ponds which adjoin on the west side, and five pools for raising fish, named Anahele, Aalanui, Kahiwapuhau, Kapuulu, and Kahakaloha. Those are the fish pools. Here is the measurement of my house lot and the fish pools in it.
