No. 6145G, Aiwale, Honokohau, September 8, 1853, Counter Konohiki, See page 325v7

Kalalau, sworn, I know his apanas of land. He received Apana 1 as a bequest from his elder brother who was named Kauhi, who died in1848. I do not know of Apana 2.

Napeahi, sworn, I know this apana of land. It was from Kaahanui to Uluehu, and /then/ to Aiwale, when Hoapili was alive, and he has cultivated this place until the present. He has put two lo`i poalima of the konohiki in this apana.

Apana 3 is taro land and kula which he received from his older brother. This was formerly taro land and afterwards was flooded then the water did not come, therefore it has been abandoned until this time.

(Decision was made that Apana 1,Kula, was for the konohiki, leaving Apanas 2 and 3 for Aiwale.)
