Gentlemen:
I take this opportunity of soliciting your attention relative to the quieting of my title to my land.
I would inform you that I acquired my land called Wainee from Governor Hoapili in December 1839 in part payment for my building his house in the Fort.

Kimo, sworn: Ihave [know] Solomon's property in Lahaina here, mauka of the church. Solomon is a son-in-law for me. My son-in-law and I went together to Hoapili in the year 1836 and I heard Hoapili tell a certain man to go with us and survey a land for Solomon. I have heard that Hoapili gave (land) to Solomon for building a house.
