Greetings to you, Kauakamauna, my beloved makuakane. I have received your letter telling of a certain lot. Here is what I tell you. Petition for a lot of ours, Puaa, to the land commissioners. Work together with them but use my name. This is my great wish. Love to you and your wahine and all your people. May God be with you.

.... nono. When I went there to live, the family of Manono were living there. It was partially enclosed before Manono lived on it, by the fence of the ahupuaa built by Kaaimalalo, and then Manono enclosed it properly. When Manono left for Kauai the lot reverted to Kaaimalalo. Keaupuni was then at school at Lahainaluna, and did not live on this lot.
