Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto John Neddles, [LCA 1723B] Estate of Freehold less than allodial, in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas the said John Neddles has commuted the same for a Fee Simple Title by the payment of sixty-two 50/100 dollars.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given absolutely, in Fee Simple unto the said John Neddles all that certain piece of land situated at Palama, Island of Oahu, and described by boundaries as follows:
Commencing at stake at East corner of this land by Hooliliamanu's makai wall aina fence on mauka & Kawaiiki on East or Honolulu side and running:
South 12° 30' West 1 1/2 chains along between this land & Kawaiiki to stake, thence
South 14° 15' East 1 chain 19 10/12 feet along Kawaiiki to stake joining land called Keoneula, thence
South 56[?]° 30' West 3 chains 9 3/12 feet along through Prickly pear bushes, the boundary line between this and Keoneula to stake between mauka corner of kalo patch, thence
South 59° West 1 chain 54 7/12 feet along between kalo patches to stake at Kawaiiki, thence
North 38° West 1 ....
