Royal Patent upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto Joseph Booth (Claim No. 273, Part 2) an estate for life in and to the land hereafter described to go to his Hawaiian born children and their heirs, they being Hawaiian subjects forever.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this royal patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given unto Joseph Booth, all that certain piece of land situate at Little Greenwich, Pauoa, in the Island of Oahu, and described by surveyed boundaries as follows:
Commencing at Stake, at East corner of this place, 83 feet in a direction South 37° 30' West from South corner of kalo patch wall, and running
North 26° W ....
